Summertime... on the balcony....

The garden is growing, especially the balcony tomato. Some days ago I already had to pre-harvest two of the bigger tomatoes as the plant started crooking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Today I luckily got a bigger stick for supporting the balcony tomato from a good friend of mine. Here's a picture of the tomato - upright again. :-)

The garden is growing...

Yesterday I made some pictures of the flourishing plants on my balcony. Here they are:

The special "balcony tomato" (hopefully it does not get too big...)

The strawberries (hopefully they get a lot of strawberries :-)):

And... the herbs (delicious with potatoes or in the salad):

Brontosaurus eggs

After a long day at work (btw: even though it is Friday today) I just walked in the local supermarket to "hunt" something to eat for "dinner". Something healthy, with lots of vitamines and... some tasty red wine (because it is weekend now ;-)). An this is what I found (besides the red wine, of course): Brontosaurus eggs. Here's a picture of these little-fruit-with-the-funny-name: Brontosaurus eggs
Ok, and now, I'll switch it off, that slow grey box in front of me (= my laptop) and I'll try those primeval eggs. I am curious about what they'll taste like. :)
